Retrospective

While following the modules in my first 5 weeks in the master of UX design program, the thing that stuck in my mind the most was how the progress in learning was not seen just by the results, but from the process. This is why every week there is an assignment to write a critical reflective journal, where the aim of which is not to summarise the material obtained, but to take what can be learned and then evaluate oneself for self-development.

The first 6 weeks (until finishing my RI1) went smoothly for me. I also took the time to read the book The Lean Startup to understand the prototyping process more deeply. I feel the idea of completing 2 master's degrees simultaneously is manageable. But unfortunately, I presented to an unexpected problem in my personal life, which made me demotivated and always procrastinate on my work. This is one of the hardest times in my life, and as I am writing this journal, it is already December. I'm still in the healing process. Every day I force myself to do things. Being away from family is also one of the factors that make it difficult to overcome this problem. Fortunately, thanks to my self-awareness, I was still able to carry out at least my responsibilities, one of which was to complete my assignments.

I am planning to get better and do better in 2022. I, therefore, followed a way to conduct a retrospective by Mike Cohn by writing down things to start, stop, and continue (2016).

My start items are:

My stop items are:

And lastly, my continue items are:

Although it is already too late to set a goal such as writing CRJ on time and participating in webinars, I will try to commit to doing that in my next term.
